Moving on...

As you probably have noticed, I havent posted anything on Julieanna's fashion story for quite a while.That is because I am now contributing to to a new blog (YourFashionStory) and working on a book with a girlfriend of mine. We will talk more about the book on YourFashionStory. I hope you enjoy the new blog!

My Etsy Shop

I love Etsy because I can always find something unique and or a new designer who's on the verge of making it big, but still has reasonable prices. These are some of my fav's from apparel, accessories to home decor.

With spring come dresses and florals and more white

Leifsdottir at Anthropolgie. This line always does such a great job of making very feminine but wearable pieces. I see this dress with my nude flats and big basket woven grocery bag for when I'm at the farmers market this spring. I can just feel the warmth on my cheeks now...

 

I want to dress this jacket down with loose denim rolled up and a fitted pinky/peach tank top. I like how the ties hang, but on me this would never get tied. 

Addicted to White

As we slowing work away on our new home I find myself drawn to white. Not unlike my clothing where white, cream and gray seem to rule over the other colors, white again rules inside my home.

 

In love with the new table and bench we recently bought from west elm. I wish I could tell you what type of flowers these are but all I know is they are succulents. If you know please share! Walls are Kelly Moore Rainier White. White chairs are from Ezmod furniture.

 

Is it bad I still have some white twinkle lights up? I did take down the stockings, buy these lights are just so pretty in evening. Newspaper covered ornaments from west elm. 

Chambray

Spring is upon us, at least in the fashion sense. Stores and magazines are featuring resort wear and soon if not already the first pieces of spring 2012. Everywhere I look I'm seeing the chambray shirt. A classic that keeps returning and sometimes with a new update. I have to say I'm not sad to see this top return with such a vengeance, I love the 70's vibe it gives you.

 

 I just purchased this version of the chambray shirt from Anthropologie.
I love the vent in the back, it feels classic and sexy. Looking forward to pairing it

with my white denim.

N.Y. pics

New York trip was amazing but not really the same for the photos I took. Here a just a couple. Christmas tree at Rockefeller center, our hotel (the Georgianna) and a view of the staue of liberty from the deck.
The coat I'm wearing is by Patagonia, pretty sporty for this trip but it worked perfectly, warm and comfy everywhere I went. And my Missoni scarf, couldn't live without it!
